WE ARRIVE AT JOHN LEWIS & PARTNERS OXFORD STREET

We are delighted to announce that McQueens Flowers has partnered with the UK’s most trusted and cherished retailer John Lewis & Partners to bring our range of beautiful hand-tied bouquets and expert event flowers service to customers of the company’s flagship Oxford Street store. Opening Wednesday 2nd December, just in time for the festive period, the new concession promises to be a one-stop floral destination.

Located inside the store’s entrance on Henrietta Place en route to the Waitrose Foodhall, shoppers will be able to pick from an impressive array of fresh, seasonal blooms and have an expert florist craft a bespoke hand-tied arrangement while they wait, choose from a selection of bouquets exclusively designed for John Lewis, or simply purchase a wrap of flowers to arrange at home. A talented team of florists will always be on hand to expertly advise on everything from choosing a floral gift to planning a memorable event or arranging weekly flowers for their home.

Alongside fresh, seasonal flowers, McQueens Flowers will offer a carefully curated gift edit including candles, statement vessels, terrariums and plants. McQueens Flowers has been telling stories with flowers since 1991 and is best known for its Instagrammable weekly flowers in London’s famous Claridge’s Hotel, Vanity Fair’s Oscars After Party in Beverly Hills, and the annual Wimbledon Champions’ Dinner. TIn 2019, the brand became the first florist in the world to be awarded a Butterfly Mark from Positive Luxury for its progress towards becoming a sustainable luxury brand.

The brand’s arrival at John Lewis is celebrated with an exclusive capsule collection of bouquets inspired by notable characters from John Lewis’ past - each design references the history of the iconic department store infused with McQueens’ signature floral mastery.

Daniela Piacquadio, manager of McQueens Flowers at John Lewis and designer of the exclusive collection, knew instinctively that she wanted to draw on the iconic retailer’s extraordinary heritage, commenting on one of the bouquets - “John Lewis Senior, the youngest silk buyer and seller on Oxford Street, is the inspiration for ‘Silken’ - a delicate, pastel-hued bouquet.”
